গালিফ স্ট্রীট পেট মার্কেট: একটা অসম্ভব সুন্দর জায়গা! শুধু যারা পশু পাখি কিনতে চান তাদের জন্যই নয়, বরং যেকোন সাধারণ পশুপ্রেমী, গাছপ্রেমীর জন্যই। সবদিকে রকমারি রঙের আর বিন্যাসের পাখি-পালা দেখতে কারই না ভালো লাগে!  প্রথমেই জানিয়ে রাখা ভালো গালিফ স্ট্রীটে প্রচন্ড ভিড়! একমাত্র খুব সকালে একটু কম, বাকি যত সময় এগোতে থাকে ভিড় বাড়তেই থাকে, as busy as it gets! তাই উপভোগ করতে হলে ভোর ভোর গিয়েই মজা। আর মেঘলা দিনে যাওয়া টা বেস্ট- যাকে বলে ‘cherry on the top’! সময়সীমা: শুধু রবিবার এই হাট বসে, সকাল 6 টা থেকে দুপুর 3 টে। মেট্রো ধরে কেউ যেতে চাইলে শ্যামবাজার স্টেশনে নেমে পা চালাতে হবে। আর শিয়ালদাহ থেকে সহজেই বাস পাওয়া যাবে। প্রথমে গলিতে ঢুকেই  মুগ্দ্ধ করার জন্য বিভিন্ন রঙের পাখি সার দিয়ে বসে থাকবে, সাদা কালো লাল নীল কি নেই সে দলে! ছোট বড় সব আকারে। দামও পঞ্চাশ- ষাট টাকা থেকে শুরু করে আড়াই- তিন- পাঁচ হাজার বা তারও বেশি। চোখে যতই সুন্দর লাগুক এখান থেকে কেনা ঠিক কিনা শেষে সব মিলিয়ে বলছি. আবার একটু পরে গিয়েই মিলবে মাছের বাজার। But, this time- they're alive! ছোট, বড় সাইজ আর রঙের বাহার সবারই

The cost-effective fare of just RS 6 to cross the river and reach Babughat made it funny. Little did I know that this decision would really lead me to a world of smiles and interactions! V isiting the Indian Museum in Kolkata was an attempt to escape the daily stresses and immerse myself in a world of history and culture. The museum, known for its diverse galleries, offered a variety of exhibits to explore.  While the experience had its moments of fascination, there were also some aspects that left me wanting more. Join me as I recount my journey through the halls of the Indian Museum, highlighting the highs and lows of this renowned institution. The Diverse Galleries: Upon entering the museum, I was greeted by the prospect of an enriching journey. The ticket prices were reasonable, with an additional fee for photography enthusiasts. It's worth noting that photography was not allowed in certain sections, such as the captivating Egypt exhibit and the mysterious world of mummies.
